One upcoming legislator is going above and beyond to make sure all of his constituents have a chance to voice their opinions before session starts. State Rep. Drew Springer will be holding 22 townhalls over the next two days.

No, that’s not a typo.

State Rep. Elect Drew Springer, who will be representing on of the largest state house districts in terms of square miles, will hold 22 townhalls on Dec. 19 and 20.

Each meeting will last approximately 30 minutes in towns all across HD 68.

“I think it is important for elected officials to interact with their constituents on a regular basis,“ said Springer. “Getting feedback from the citizens of HD 68 will help me legislate in a way that better represents the diverse needs of our district.”

Hats off to Mr. Springer for taking on the challenge of representing a large rural district and ensuring his constituents have as much access to him as possible.
