A fiscal conservative with a proven record of fighting for commonsense reforms, Jess Fields has earned the endorsement of Texans for Fiscal Responsibility in the Republican primary for Texas House District 14.
“As a city councilman and community leader, Jess Fields has proven that he puts sound public policy and the good of Texas taxpayers first,” said TFR’s president, Michael Quinn Sullivan. “Jess Fields will be a bold, commonsense representative willing to fight the cronyism and corruption that has infested the Texas House.”

He is challenging incumbent John Raney, whose lackluster record includes votes for unconstitutional regulations on First Amendment Rights while working to hand out more taxpayer cash to corporate cronies and their lobbyists. Raney has one of the ten worst voting records of any Republican on both fiscal and social issues.
Texans for Fiscal Responsibility (www.EmpowerTexans.com) is the largest grassroots organization in the state focused on state and local fiscal and governance policy issues. Endorsements are made in consultation with advisors, subscribers and supporters in each district.
“Texans are looking for reform-minded candidates who will serve their constituents rather than the corrupt crony-culture of Austin,” added Sullivan. “That’s why we’re proud to stand alongside taxpayers in House District 14 supporting Jess Fields.”
