This absolutely ludicrous, disgusting capitulation to the radical left should disturb all Texans (except for the most radical elements of our state). 

Guys, this issue alone is yet another revelation of just how morally compromised Republican leadership is in the Texas House. This is a sick game that is costing the lives of Texas children. 

Representative Krause has yet to clarify his earlier defense of Dustin Burrows, the chairman who was most responsible for killing this bill. Also notable, all Republican members of the Calendars Committee are silent on why they voted to kill this bill and place it on a page they knew would never be reached by the midnight deadline last Thursday.
