Brookhaven freshman Morgan Frisby was named First-Team All-Region performer for the 2018 volleyball season, as well as conference Setter of the Year by the Dallas Athletic Conference after a stellar first year campaign.

Frisby recorded 76 points on the season, while starting 31 matches and recording 322 digs and 1,058 assists.

Alexis Hattaway also had a First-Team selection, while being selected as an NJCAA Honorable Mention All-Conference. Princess Hamilton and Savannah Blagg were named to the Second-Team.

The Lady Bears finished the season (12-19) overall and (9-2) in Dallas Athletic Conference play, while earning the Region V Runner-Up plaque. They averaged 10 assists, 11 kills, and 20 digs in 31 matches this season. The Lady Bears look forward to a successful 2019-20 season, as they open play August 12, at 2 p.m., in a home opener and alumni game, followed by a matchup against Ranger College August 17.
