After a solid freshman season in which she became nicely acclimated to the Arkansas volleyball program, Dallas native Lauren Evans continues to contribute on the court for the Razorbacks.

The 5-foot-11-inch Colleyville Heritage graduate, who is listed as an outside hitter, recorded a key service ace to lift Arkansas over North Carolina State in five sets on Sept. 20. Earlier this month, she chipped in 12 digs in a three-set loss to Princeton.

Evans made quite the first impression when she arrived in Fayetteville last year. Appearing in 22 matches with five starts, the marketing major ranks third in program history for aces/sets.

At Colleyville Heritage, Evans earned All-State and District 8-5A MVP honors after leading the Lady Panthers to the regional final round of the 5A state playoffs.
