To be a top soccer player for the Magnolia High School Lady Bulldogs requires dedication and high performance both on and off the field — attributes shown by No. 16 senior Erin Mooneyham.

According to April Berry Cleveland, girls’ head soccer coach and physical education teacher, “Erin finds a way to win. She is one of the hardest working people I know and is the definition of a team player.”

Her stats bear out Cleveland’s assessment.

Erin “was our team-leading goal scorer with nine goals and had eight assists this year,” Cleveland said, calling her “relentless in her focus on the field.”

Beyond performance, Mooneyham has the soft skills that exemplify the best student athletes.

“She is the most giving, servant leader in our school,” Coach Cleveland said. “And every year her legacy gets added too. Most notable is her work ethic, which is only surpassed by her character.”

Her combination of achievements on and off the field make her “the definition of Magnolia High Soccer,” Cleveland added.
