Although he may not have chosen a college major, one part of Arizona Wildcat sophomore Brice Vooletich’s athletic career seems to have been decided by genetics.

The No. 89 wide receiver’s father was Brian Vooletich, an alum of the Michigan State Spartan’s football team, where he co-captained the 1991 NCAA Division 1-A team. The younger Vooletich’s uncle, Dan Vooletich, played for the North Carolina Tar Heels team in 1986 and 1987.

Brice, a 2018 St. Pius X High School graduate, lettered in football twice, as a wide receiver and strong safety. The 5-foot-10, 194-pound athlete also lettered in the long jump and triple jump and earned a place on the school’s Honor Roll.

As his collegiate bio says, Brice Vooletich “totaled 30 tackles, three tackles-for-loss and two interceptions as a senior,” which pushed the team to a runner-up state championship.
