Rice junior wide receiver Bradley Rozner could figure prominently in the Owls’ passing attack this season, his first at the NCAA Division I level.

Formerly a community college standout, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound Rozner is a candidate to pair with Austin Trammell, who became Rice’s top receiving option after head coach Mike Bloomgren suspended leader receiver Aaron Cephus indefinitely.

Rozner built quite the resume at Cisco Junior College, where he amassed 616 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in nine games last season. He topped all NJCAA players in receiving touchdowns.

In Rice’s season-opening 14-7 loss to Army, Rozner caught a pass for six yards.
