Madison Williams was one of just 24 girls’ basketball players selected as a McDonald’s All-American player in January 2018.

The senior at Trinity Valley High School had the stats to justify her inclusion in that tournament: a 20-point per-game average as a Trinity Valley High School junior. She didn’t disappoint in the eventual McDonald’s All-American match-up, scoring 13 points during the McDonald’s game, according to her Oklahoma Sooners bio.

Life after high school for the 6-0 Fort Worth, Texas, native has proved eventful with the Sooners, her college pick. There, under 20-season veteran head coach Sherri Coale, Williams has led her team with an 11.6 per-game average and 8.0 rebounds per game.

Her on-court achievements have ranked her highly in team history, as well, with a school-record fourth-place ranking in rebounds per game among freshman players and tying for fifth place overall in total rebounds.
