She defended her crown in the 2019 season as she threw 60.26 meters, which was the second best throw in Division II history, while surpassing her own meet record.

Osakue is used to holding records as she holds the top eight best throws in Division II history. She also finished first in the weight throw and shot put at the Texas Tech Red & Black Open.

The stellar accomplishments she has conquered has allowed her to qualify for the World Championship that will start September 28 in Doha, as she will compete and represent for her home country of Italy. Osakue hopes the winning carries over to her junior campaign as she looks to defend her national crown in the 2019-20 season.
