The University of Houston women’s volleyball team relies on senior outside hitter Megan Duncan to spark the offense, and the Plano Senior High alum contributed immensely during the Cougars’ recent trip to the Red Raider Classic at Texas Tech.

Duncan finished with a team-best 21 kills for the Cougars as part of their 1-2 showing last weekend, according to The Daily Cougar. Houston defeated Incarnate Word but fell to Texas Tech and UTEP.

A kinesiology major with a goal to become a physical therapist, the 6-foot-1-inch Duncan has been Houston’s go-to player for kills and points since enrolling in 2016. She took home UNO Invitational Tournament MVP honors as a junior and has landed on the All-American Academic Team three times.

In high school, she lettered three years and was an all-district honoree.
