The Texas Tech Red Raiders baseball team looks to continue its run for a championship as the the Red Raiders defeated the eighth ranked Arkansas Razorbacks 5-4 in a elimination game at T.D. Ameritrade Park in Omaha for the 2019 College World Series on ESPN.

The Red Raiders (45-19) and the Razorbacks (46-19) both teams faced elimination after both teams dropped their opening games on Saturday.

The Red Raiders John McMillon recorded the win on the mound as second baseman Brian Klien led Tech offensively scoring two runs on the night.

Texas Tech bounced back after falling to the University of Michigan 5-3 in the opening round match-up. Pitcher Micah Dallas registered his first loss of the season.

After a loss to the Wolverines the Red Raiders fell to 2-7 All-Time in the NCAA College World Series.

The Red Raiders returns to action Wednesday against Florida State University at 6 p.m.
