Misrepresentation in politics is nothing new, but a candidate in Tarrant County’s House District 92 is taking the abhorrent practice to new heights… or is it depths?

In a mail piece sent to voters over the weekend, Roger Fisher fraudulently claims TFR lists his opponent, Jonathan Stickland, as a tax-raiser. Bizarrely, Fisher cites us as his source!

Even more strange, since we have endorsed Jonathan Stickland.

In fact, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility endorsed Jonathan Stickland, in part because he has publicly pledged (see below) to oppose any and all tax increases. Meanwhile, Mr. Fisher has NOT signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, and worse still, raised taxes 12 percent while serving on the city council.

Jonathan Stickland is a strong conservative who deserves the support of HD92 conservatives.

Jonathan Stickland has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge; Roger Fisher has not.
