A North Texas elementary school teacher’s aide is accused of using Snapchat to create and distribute homemade child pornography showing himself assaulting a very young boy.
Blaine Tyler Frost, 19, who works with children in Henrietta Independent School District, was arrested June 8 and charged with indecency with a child by exposure, indecency with a child by sexual contact, and possession with intent to promote child pornography.
All are second-degree felonies punishable by two to 20 years in prison.
Frost is an inclusion paraprofessional at Henrietta Elementary School. Henrietta is in Clay County, on the Texas-Oklahoma border.
TexomasHomepage.com reported that Frost was caught during an investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigation Division and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
According to arrest records, a DPS special agent was notified by DHS on June 5 about an investigation in their Pittsburg, Pennsylvania field office involving child pornography from Henrietta, Texas.
DPS reportedly obtained evidence of Frost using his Snapchat account to produce homemade child porn and distribute it to a suspect in the Pittsburg area.
The DPS agent attested he reviewed multiple images and videos showing criminal sexual exploitation of children—which authorities call Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
The agent said he identified Frost using Frost’s driver’s license. In one Snapchat video, he saw Frost expose himself to a male victim about 3-5 years old and then assault the child.
Frost sent the video to another person via Snapchat.
Authorities believe the assault took place in February 2023, a month after Frost became certified to teach.
State Board for Educator Certification records show Frost received his Texas educational aide certificate in January 2023.
Frost is currently being held in Clay County Jail on a $1 million bond.
He’s among dozens of Texas educators recently accused of sex crimes involving students and other minors.
