In advance of the 2014 November election, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility endorsed Armin Mizani in his bid for Keller City Council, Place 2.
Ross Kecseg, TFR’s Metroplex Director, praised Mizani.
“When all overlapping local governments are considered, Keller residents face one of the highest, per person debt burdens in North Texas,” said Kecseg. “Mr. Mizani is committed to encouraging continued economic development by maintaining efficient and effective city services and by reducing regulatory burdens. He understands the risk residents face if the growing property tax burden driven by rapid growth and rising values is not responsibly curtailed.”
Kesceg praised Mizani for seeking to improve city government transparency.
“Armin Mizani is dedicated to increasing public accountability and encouraging a higher level of citizen involvement in the governing process.”
