Last night Barak Obama gave yet another speech outlining a broad health care reform package. Although he promised to give details and provide insights into his plan he did not.

To contrast such a lack of clear leadership one need look no further than the conservative leaders of our Texas legislature.

The Texas Conservative Coalition lead by the group’s President Representative Wayne Christian released a video yesterday voicing their objections to Obamacare while specifying what could be done to reform our health care system.

Reducing health care mandates, adding much needed tort reform, allowing cross state purchasing and adding transparency to price and quality are just some of the alternatives to what is right now the veiled threat of a one payer system being pushed forward in D.C.
