Principal James Brian Shillingburg of Clements High School in Fort Bend Independent School District was arrested Monday evening and charged with soliciting a prostitute in an undercover sex trafficking sting. 

According to reports from local news, the undercover operation called “Operation Naughty List” saw Shillingburg allegedly paying an officer to perform sexual acts. 

The probable cause affidavit obtained by Click 2 Houston says Shillingburg met the undercover officer at a hotel and allegedly agreed to pay for sexual intercourse, including oral sex, for $90.

Fort Bend ISD released a statement acknowledging that there will be an “administrative transition.”

Clements principal Brian Shillingburg was arrested on December 11th by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Solicitation of Prostitution/Other Payor. We are committed to ensuring there is no disruption to instruction and a smooth administrative transition.

Shillingburg has been the principal of Clements High School since 2022 and was previously the principal of James Bowie Middle School.

His bail is set at $5,000.
