Mitch Little Beats Freshman State Rep. Kronda Thimesch in Primary

Attorney Mitch Little has unseated State Rep. Kronda Thimesch of Lewisville in the Republican Primary for House District 65. 

House District 65 includes part of Denton County. 

Little rose to prominence while serving on the defense team for Attorney General Ken Paxton during his impeachment trial. Thimesch, meanwhile, voted for and supported the impeachment. 

While Little received the endorsement of Paxton, Thimesch claimed the endorsement of Gov. Greg Abbott. 

Little also received the endorsements of Grassroots America: We The People, Texas Gun Rights, and Texans for Fiscal Responsibility. 

Little will face Democrat Detrick DeBurr in the November Election.
