Status of Legislative Priorities: (Reference)
- HB 1927 – State Rep. Matt Schaefer (R–Tyler)/State Sen. Charles Schwertner (R–Georgetown) – Constitutional carry. Both chambers have now accepted the Conference Committee Report, and the bill will now be sent to the governor for his consideration. He has previously indicated he would sign the bill into law. - HB 3 – State Rep. Dustin Burrows (R–Lubbock)/State Sen. Brian Birdwell (R–Granbury) – Formerly the TX Pandemic Response Act, which is now substituted with the Executive Powers Reform Bill, SB 1025. Was recommended for the Senate Local & Uncontested Calendar consideration.
- HB525 – State Rep. Matt Shaheen (R–Plano)/State Sen. Bob Hall (R–Edgewood) – Designates religious organizations and their activities as essential at all times, including during a time of emergency or disaster.
