Each week, Texas Scorecard Managing Editor Brandon Waltens visits with special guests and Texas Scorecard reporters, taking a look at the stories that are making headlines.

This week Brandon visits with Cisco businessman — and frequent Texas Scorecard contributor — Jon Francis about the events that unfolded Wednesday afternoon in Washington DC. Francis was among the thousands who attended the event and gives a first hand account of what went on.

The 87th Texas Legislature convenes next week and Brandon will preview that and let us know what citizens can expect when they arrive at the state capitol. Will the people even be allowed inside?
