Hundreds rallied at the Capitol on Monday to protest strong borders, federal spending transparency, and the Trump administration.

Texas Scorecard reported live on the scene at two different protests that were held outside the Capitol back-to-back.

The first was publicized under “50501,” a number that refers to the decentralized organization on a corresponding Reddit thread. It was followed by a brief march down Congress Avenue.

Attendees shouted several chants, including “Hey hey! Ho ho! Elon Musk has got to go,” “F**k Greg Abbott,” “Women refuse to go back,” and “Not my president.” They also waved American flags flipped upside down.

Other chants included “From Palestine to Mexico, all the walls have got to go!” as well as “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA!”

Multiple individuals could be seen encouraging children to wave LGBT “pride” flags and participate in smearing Elon Musk and the Trump administration.

The second rally immediately followed the first and was held at the same location. Organized by a group known as “El Moviemiento,” protestors called for an end to the deportations of criminal illegal aliens.

Among the lineup of speakers was one individual who threw her American flag on the ground before speaking.

Below are images of signs waved by protestors during the event.

Texas Scorecard is continuing to monitor protests across the state.
