In the days leading up to early voting, Armin Mizani received a huge endorsement from a mayor in one of the districts most prominent and politically active cities.
Colleyville Mayor Richard Newton endorsed Mizani over his opponent, and former friend to the conservative movement, current State Rep. Giovanni Capriglione (R-Keller).
In a press release, Newton said “Armin is a straight talker, is clear in his principles, and will make decisions as your representative on those principles- not on political expediency. He will fight on behalf of taxpayers, will fight to secure our border, will protect life, and will address our out-of-date school funding system.”
If Mizani were to be elected, he would be a great improvement over Capriglione, who as a first term representative went to Austin and left his conservative values at home.
