A dozen elected officials have issued a stinging rebuke in the open-seat race for House District 33. In an open-letter to voters, Justin Holland is criticized for having “stooped” to “completely fabricating falsehoods about” conservative John Keating.

Holland is a creation of the liberal Austin crony establishment. As has been previously reported, Holland’s taken $225,000 from crony Austin insiders — including cash from anti-Second Amendment liberal Charles Butt of the HEB grocery store chain.

In recent weeks, Holland has been caught lying about Keating’s record.

As noted in the rebuke, Holland has attacked Keating over city council pay in Frisco, where Keating has served as the mayor pro tem. In fact, Keating has refused to accept a city council paycheck.

Holland is trying to distract voters from his record and positions on issues.

Unlike Holland, John Keating is a proven conservative with an honorable record and a decorated Gulf War veteran.

Fortunately, these elected official are making sure Holland’s lies are exposed and corrected before voters head to the polls.
