State Sen. Ogden’s re-election was endorsed today by the political action arm of Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, the Empower Texans PAC.
“Senator Ogden has skillfully navigated the state’s budget through good times and bad as chairman of the Finance Committee, keeping spending under control,” said the organization’s president, Michael Quinn Sullivan.
“Sen. Ogden understands, especially in these tough economic times, the importance of strong fiscal discipline. Texas’ taxpayers have been well-served by the senator’s service in the Texas Legislature, and we encourage the people of Senate District 5 to keep him working on behalf of the Lone Star State.”
