Dan Patrick announced he is changing the rules of the Senate in order to remove Democrats’ ability to “veto” Republican agenda items.

This is a great indication for Republicans who are pushing to have a session dedicated to conservative policy.

On the other hand, Dade Phelan has done anything but indicate his intentions of advancing a conservative agenda in 2021. The good news is we still have time and it will be interesting to see what the next few weeks indicate to Texans as we watch the actions of the incoming speaker.
