Biography
After earning his J.D. from St. Mary's University, Michael McCaul went into private practice as a lawyer. He was also Chief of Counter Terrorism and National Security to the U.S. Attorney's office in Texas. From 1998-2002, McCaul served as Deputy Attorney General under then-Texas Attorney General John Cornyn. He entered Congress on January 4, 2005.
