Next Monday, President Donald J. Trump will be making a final get-out-the-vote push for Republican congressional candidate Ronny Jackson, speaking directly to Texas Panhandle and North Texas voters in a live tele-town hall.

According to Dr. Ronny Jackson’s campaign, Trump will participate in a tele-town hall with the candidate on Monday, July 13. Jackson and President Trump will discuss several issues during the tele-town hall, including oil and gas, farming and ranching, immigration, and healthcare.

Jackson is currently locked in a heated July 14 Republican runoff to replace U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry in the 13th Congressional District. Jackson, a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral and former White House physician, has been endorsed by Trump in the race over his opponent, former lobbyist Josh Winegarner.

In a statement to Texas Scorecard, Jackson said he is looking forward to the town hall.

“I am excited that President Trump will be joining me on a live tele-town hall so voters in TX-13 can hear directly from the both of us about what we plan to do for my friends, family, and the rest of the fine folks in the Texas Panhandle and North Texas. I speak to the president and his team regularly, and I look forward to having a great discussion about how the president and I will help the oil & gas industry bounce back, defend our farmers and ranchers from unfair trade deals, safeguard our borders, and how we will hold China accountable for what they have done to our economy.”

Those interested in tuning in to the tele-town hall can call in to the following number on Monday, July 13, at 6 p.m.
