A 2015 undercover video that showed Houston-area Planned Parenthood abortionists admitting to being willing to sell fetal organs has now been released eight years after Kamala Harris seized the video in 2016.
The video taken by pro-life journalist David Daleiden showed abortionists remarking that fetal organs can be harvested “without too much difficulty at all.”
Daleiden posed as a representative of a fetal tissue collection agency and received positive reactions from the abortionists who were eager to do business with him.
“You told me about the proposition, and so now every time I do a D&E [dilation and evacuation abortion], I’m like, ‘Oh there’s some lungs, there’s some kidneys,’” said Dr. Ann Schutt-Aine, Chief Medical Officer for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in the video.
“I might pull off a leg or two so it’s not a PBA [partial birth abortion],” said Schutt-Aine.
After the interaction, the journalist emailed Planned Parenthood an undercover contract deal for “$1,600 per pair of liver and thymus” that Tram Nguyen, Vice President of Abortion Access for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, agreed to by email.
Then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris authorized the raid of Daleiden’s home for the footage and Daleiden was later charged with conspiracy to invade privacy and 14 counts of filming people without permission.
Additionally, Harris’ office worked with Planned Parenthood to amend the California penal code to make recording undercover conversations with “health care providers” a crime, according to emails uncovered by The Washington Times.
“It’s pretty obvious that the reason I, alone, was targeted by Kamala Harris is because I dared to criticize Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry,” said Daleiden in a video.
Kimberlyn Schwartz, Director of Media and Communication for Texas Right to Life said Kamala Harris “will do anything to promote abortion.”
“She violated a citizen’s First Amendment rights by seizing the footage to keep the public from knowing the truth about her buddies at Planned Parenthood,” Schwartz said.
The footage has now been released after being subpoenaed for use in a congressional hearing hosted by U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on “Investigating the Black Market of Baby Organ Harvesting.”
Nine years after the investigation was launched, Daleiden is still awaiting trial.
