Texas Congressman Proposes American Pride Month

Texas’ U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt is challenging President Joe Biden and woke corporations to show as much American pride as they did “LGBT Pride,” with a House Resolution celebrating “the monumental achievements of the United States of America.”

“If the Biden White House, woke corporations, and the media can spend an entire month celebrating ‘PRIDE,’ then we can dedicate the entire month of our nation’s birth to celebrate American Pride,” said Hunt in a press release.

“The purpose of American Pride Month is to bring American exceptionalism back into the spotlight and to teach our children what it means to be American,” reads the resolution.

Hunt told Fox News that while the White House draped “Pride” flags over the railing facing the South Lawn, American pride is on the decline according to polls.

“This resolution also serves as a challenge to this White House and woke corporations,” he added. “Will they fly Old Glory as high and as proudly in July, as they did the LGBTQ flag in June?”

Hunt has pledged to wage a social media campaign celebrating America for the entire month of July.
