It’s all about the Donalds?

In a bold move to honor the current president, North Texas U.S. Rep. Brandon Gill has introduced the Golden Age Act of 2025, proposing that all $100 bills feature the image of President Donald J. Trump, replacing Benjamin Franklin.

Gill, who is serving his first term in Congress, praised Trump’s leadership, saying he “took a bullet for this country” and continues to fight for border security, trade reform, energy independence, and an “America First” agenda.

The bill, his third introduced in the 119th Congress, aims to recognize Trump’s impact by placing his likeness on the nation’s most circulated banknote.

“There has been no one who has done more to bring America into the golden age than President Trump,” Gill stated. “Featuring him on the $100 bill is a small way to honor all he will accomplish these next four years.”

Under the legislation, the Treasury Department would be required to release a preliminary design by December 31, 2026, and all newly issued $100 bills would feature Trump’s image by December 31, 2028.

The legislation has already been co-sponsored by fellow Texas U.S. Rep. Troy Nehls.
