AUSTIN — “📣 Calling all high school students 📣 Get PAID to Learn about sex education over spring break!”

As parents across the nation fight to remove pornographic and racist materials from of their children’s schools, Austin city officials are busy luring teenagers to their “sex-ed camp” at taxpayer-funded libraries.

“Free classes will be held at multiple library branches (*pending COVID-19 risk stage of 3 or less) on this evidence-based and LGBTQIA+ friendly course led by @AustinPublicHealth!” read a city social media post. “Space is LIMITED so learn more and sign up now.”

The post links to a sign-up form that is currently closed, though the event is for “Teens 13-18 only.” The Austin Public Library also deleted its Twitter and Facebook posts about it.

“LGBTQIA+ friendly course” ostensibly means promoting hazardous sexual behaviors and destructive gender ideologies to adolescents.

“Curious, What is the Grant that funded this? 4 days, $100 & Lunch?” one citizen replied on social media. “What is the total grant value? Is funding received regardless of attendance? Who received $$$?”

“Austin taxpayers are paying for this – correct? What is the entire budget for this program over spring break?” another citizen wrote.

“This upsets me as a parent and taxpayer. It is NOT APL or any other agenda driven organization to educate my children on sex!” another replied.

Austin Independent School District has faced public backlash over the past several years for its controversial sex education curriculum. Relatedly, the Democrat-run city hall has a long history of supporting the abortion industry, with the Austin City Council notorious for funneling citizens’ money to businesses that kill babies.

“Just in: new paid grooming camp for teens!” one citizen wrote.
