State Rep. Bill Callegari has been endorsed for re-election by Texans for Fiscal Responsibility.

“As a veteran legislator, Bill Callegari has consistently proven himself to be a strong advocate for Texas’ conservatives and the interests of his constituents,” said the president of Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, Michael Quinn Sullivan. “On issue after issue, Bill Callegari has been willing to fight for his constituents while protecting Texas taxpayers.”
In 2011, Callegari earned the “Taxpayer Advocate Award” for his rating on the Fiscal Responsibility Index, which examines legislators recorded votes during the legislative session.
Sullivan praised Callegari’s long-standing record in the Texas House promoting commonsense, conservative policy solutions and opposing tax increases.
“Mr. Callegari has been a leader in working to get government out of our pocketbooks, reducing the number of licensing agencies and freeing small businesses from burdensome regulations.”
