In advance of the 2014 local elections in May, Texans For Fiscal Responsibility today endorsed Lawrence Jones III in his bid for Garland ISD School Board, Place 5.
Ross Kecseg, the TFR Metroplex office director, enthusiastically stated;
“A graduate of Garland ISD, Lawrence Jones III is better known across the Metroplex as a volunteer advocate for prudent governance. Through his service on numerous civic boards as both a youth and adult, he has demonstrated the competence and leadership skills necessary to serve as trustee for one of DFW’s largest school districts,” said Kecseg. “Lawrence has already garnered the support of local businesses, teachers, taxpayers and parents, following his investigation into the district’s alleged budgetary mismanagement.”
