Dee Margo, a conservative businessman in El Paso, says he’s tired of the typical saber-rattling in politics, so he’s campaigning on results. Margo is the Republican nominee for House District 78, having handily defeated incumbent liberal Republican Pat Haggerty in the March primary.

Margo’s nothing if not an eager student of the issues facing Texas. From conversations with friends in El Paso, it’s readily apparent that Margo is waging a campaign on, and for, the right solutions.

In an e-mail to friends last week, Margo wrote he’s tired of those who simply “rattle your sword” but don’t propose solutions or take action.

The Empower Texans PAC endorsed Dee Margo. We’re confident Dee Margo’s no-nonsense commitment to producing results will benefit not only folks in El Paso, but families across the Lone Star State.

By the way, Margo’s opponent is Joe Moody, a lawyer, who brags on his website about campaigning for the likes of Al Gore.
