If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. That’s the educational philosophy in Plano where the school district is looking to implement rules letting kids cheat on papers and turn in homework whenever they like.
Plano teachers would “still assign homework under the system, but it wouldn’t be used to determine students’ grades.” (CBS11) Most parents and teachers don’t like it, rightly saying it dumbs down of education. (And public education doesn’t have too much further down it can go, frankly.) Supporting the plan are brain-dead administrators and students who aspire to one day be brain-dead administrators.
