At the Conservative Leaders Gala on Saturday more than 500 people joined us in honoring 19 men and women for their leadership in Texas’ grassroots movement.

These were folks nominated earlier this year by citizen-activists from around the state as best representing the spirit of self-governance. Each of the honorees are folks who never seek the spotlight, laboring for liberty simply because it is the right thing to do.

Please join us in congratulating the 2016 Conservative Leader Award recipients:

Dwayne “Doc” Collins
Tom & Toni Fabry
Aaron Harris
Dale Huls
Donald & Jackie King
Cole Lyle
Tracy Marshall
Carroll Maxwell
Aubrey Mayberry
David Medlin
Antonia Okafor
Mark Ramsey
Fran Rhodes
Angela Smith
Roy & Carolyn Willis
Maggie Clopton Wright

You can learn about – and be inspired by – the honorees from the folks who nominated them in the video, linked to the individual’s names above. At the Gala, each honoree was presented with an engraved cavalry sword and scabbard, recognizing their on-the-ground leadership in the fight for a better Texas.

And it’s not too early to begin thinking about who you will nominate in 2017!
