During the ongoing Texas-Mexico border crisis, Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers located two young children abandoned in Eagle Pass. DPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez said, “In the last 24 hrs, Troopers have recovered 4 unaccompanied children in Eagle Pass.” The latest two children recovered were a pair of siblings—a four-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl—from Chiapas, Mexico.
