As most of you know, the Chris Salcedo show lives on on Newsmax and also lives on conservative talk radio in the city of Houston. It’s our base of operations. And the city of Houston is a massive city. It’s the fourth largest city in the United States. So it’s not inconsequential. What happens in the city of Houston, not to mention all the sports franchises the economic activity that goes on there. And the current mayor is is terming out Sylvester Turner.
And running for the office is one Sheila Jackson Lee. Sheila Jackson Lee has been a fixture in Congress. She is one of the more vacuous racist individuals in the in the United States Congress. And this woman. Well, to be quite frank is is a menace. And she is poised. She’s in a runoff election that happens in December. And I think early voting is already underway. She is poised to take over the mayorship of a major city in the United States. And she’s incredibly dangerous.
This woman actually believed that we had visited Mars that we had put astronauts on Mars, this woman believed that we should be naming hurricanes with culturally black names, as if that was really what was important, not the damage these storms do and how we could better harden our our infrastructure so they can withstand those storms when they do pop up. So it’s this level of vacuousness that has come to define the Democrat Party.
Let me give you another example. Corinne Jo Luc Picard. She is the spokesperson for Beijing Biden. And his poll numbers are in the toilet. Everybody knows that NBC just came out with a poll showing President Trump is four points ahead. And that’s an NBC poll. So you know, it’s probably double that. Right.
So President Trump is way ahead. As Joe Biden falls, President Trump is surging. Everybody remembers what life was like under President Trump we had money to rub in more than a few pennies to rub together and and we had no skyrocketing inflation, our borders were taken care of our military was taken care of. We were not being dictated to by the world’s dictators as as this regime currently is. So Corinne Jo Luc Picard. Sorry, I got that stuck in my head. I think it was Colonel Tony Schaefer. And I just I can’t let it go up Corinne Jo Luc Picard admits to the world that it’s not about any of you. It’s about them, the Democrats.
“But polls that show that the electorate at large, and also significant majorities within the Democratic party believe that the President is too old. The polls that show the American people and also significant majorities within the Democratic Party don’t want him to run again. And the polls that show his handling of the economy, foreign policy, all of these dismal polls, his job approval ratings. Does the White House have any basis to challenge the accuracy of that point?”
Yeah. Before we get to the the answer, this this ageism thing. He’s too old. No, it’s not the fact that he’s too old old is, is in most cases, wisdom. Joe Biden has none. Joe Biden has been a goofball has been a plagiarist has been a great After his entire political career, even when he had his mental faculties, Joe Biden couldn’t be trusted to run a popsicle stand, much less the number one representative republic in our world, that the free the leader of the free world.
So look, Joe Biden, it’s not because he’s too old, it’s because his age makes him even more an idiot than he already was. Because he has failing mental capacity. He’s not all there. And nobody believes he’s actually running the country. Everybody knows and understands that a bunch of Marxists a bunch of leftists a bunch of racists like Sheila Jackson Lee are running the country. But listen to Corinne Joan Pierre’s response.
“I know, we never checked, I’m not challenging the accuracy here. That’s not what I’m doing. What I’m saying to you is that, you know, we’re not going to change the minds of Americans, I get that Americans are going to feel how they feel. And we’re going to respect that. And I’ve said that many times from here. Many times. I said that moments ago. What I can tell you is what our perspective is. What I can tell you is how we see things.”
Yeah. So To hell with the American people. She actually, folks, she’s she said, we’re not going to change the people’s minds. So we’re going to tell you how we feel about it. We’re going to do we want to do we don’t care about what the people think. It’s, it was jaw dropping. Now, the idea. The headline out of that whole exchange was Korean John Pierre acknowledges, you know, Biden’s wildly unpopular? No, the headline should have been that White House, here’s how wildly unpopular Joe Biden is and says, Yeah, we’re not going to do anything about it. We’re just gonna keep on doing what we do. It’s all about us.
That was a freakin headline. The incompetence of these people, by the way, speaking of incompetence. Did you Did you guys catch Senator Kennedy, exposing another unqualified Biden judicial nominee, listen to this.
“The difference between a stay order and an injunction? A stay, a state order would prohibit an injunction would restrain the parties from taking action, a state order? I’m not sure that I actually can I can give you the okay.”
Did you hear Senator Kennedy? Okay. It’s all right. You’re dumber than a sack of rocks. This is why Democrats want to put you in charge of an important job. It’s okay. I see the smoke rising from your head. This is the level of incompetence. Democrats say yeah, elect these useful idiots elect these shrubs, put them in positions of power and authority over you and Americans who come in what the hell? What happened to demanding excellence?
Well, folks, you don’t get that. You don’t get that when you elect Democrats. So that brings us full circle. No excellence, as far as Sheila Jackson Lee is concerned. And folks in the city of Houston, it’s a contest between two Democrats. And in this particular case, it’s a choice of the lesser of two evils. Where will the fourth largest city in America go? Well, if those who believe in law enforcement have their say it won’t be with Sheila Jackson Lee. That’s up next on the For those of you joining around the rest of the country. For those of you who don’t know about the city of Houston, city of Houston is the fourth largest city in the United States. City of Houston is a major economic hub is a major transportation hub as a major energy hub. The city of Houston is an important city, and it’s been in Socialist Democrat hands for many, many moons. And there is a contest going on now. Republicans have no say in it. It’s between a couple of Democrats and they’re in a runoff election that will happen sometime in December. So I want to discuss what’s at play because there is the lesser of two evils at play here in Texas and America’s fourth largest city. Want to talk with Donald Baker. Thank you, Chris. Thank you for having me on.
Pleasure is all mine. So, Democrats are battling it out for the mayorship of Houston, John wittmeyer. And Sheila Jackson Lee will have that runoff election in December, as I mentioned, concerns over Sheila Jackson Lee who are anti cop bias. They are myriad among the law enforcement crowd. can you articulate some of them?
Exactly. And that’s that’s the concern. And that’s why we’re in this race to support John Whitmore because we know that she stood up with Ilan Omar, she introduced legislation that she wanted to weaponize the DOJ to come after hard working law enforcement officers that are trying to do their job to protect their communities. She even voted against a house resolution that was in DC that DC city council wanted to completely rewrite their criminal code to soften the accountability. They wanted to reduce maximum sentences for people that were committing robberies carjackings, home invasion, burglaries, and other crimes. And she was supporting that she voted against the resolution to pull against it. Even President Biden was so embarrassed that DCS attempts to do this. He wouldn’t sign the resolution, but she stood hand in hand. She’s been with the defunding of the police movement from the beginning. So that’s why we have got to stop that. Houston voters are facing a major decision coming up and early voting is going to start next Monday. So we’re a week away. And we need you some voters to come out and have a voice and support. The men and women in blue support the communities. Yet, crime going down. And Sheila Jackson is the wrong choice there.
Well, let’s let’s go over Sheila Jackson Lee’s illustrious career. This is the woman who asked Will the Mars Rover be able to show the flag the astronauts planted there before believing that, of course that America had been to Mars that astronauts had been to Mars. She also worries over hurricane names being to lily white, and expresses and expresses that she liked to see hurricanes named Keisha Jamal and to Sean, this is this is what this woman’s career has been about, about division, about about keeping Americans at each other’s throats. So she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. And to boot I guess you would have to, to not be if you’re supporting the defund the police movement. Let’s just give folks a preview. In your opinion. What do you think would happen if Sheila Jackson Lee were to become god forbid the mayor of Houston. Mr. Baker, do you think that that in short order Houston would would turn into Chicago we’re turning into Los Angeles, San Francisco or New York.
Clearly, no doubt. She’s already come out and she campaigned for Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, who he ran on the platform of redirecting money away from policing. So I think that’s going to be one of her first efforts that she’s going to Do Houston police departments already understaffed. They have over a 500 vacancies. They are having a hard time trying to get officers to come in there. And when you have a leader in the mayor’s office, who wants to demonize and defund, to reprogram dollars outside of the police department, which impact the community safety, you’re going to have a hard time recruiting people to come in. And that’s why we say, John wittmeyer. From the beginning, he has been a staunch supporter of law enforcement. And he doesn’t do it just to have political point. He is been there and supporting the officers and their families. When there’s an officer that’s killed in the line of duty. He knows their job goes out and actually rides with them and sees what happens on the streets. He knows he’s been a victim of a violent crime already. And so he’s going to get it from day one, where Sheila Jackson Lee doesn’t, and she has aligned herself up with endorsements, from bills Pro to fund politicians. People like Beto O’Rourke, or Lena Hidalgo or even the Texas organizing project, there are a group that are supporting these socialists oil back politicians. Yep. And one of their their tenants is they want to abolish policing.
Pro criminal, anti anti rule of law as some as some mechanism of social justice, which of course, is you and I both know, social justice means absence of justice. Donald Baker is our guest right now, folks, 35 years in law enforcement. Donald, give me the name of the group that you are represent, representing coming out against Sheila Jackson Lee, as being the mayor of America’s fourth largest city.
We are protecting serve Texas PAC. We’re a group we started with, when several of us in law enforcement saw the defunding wave coming around, well realized. We’ve got to get involved that.
Sheila Jackson Lee, was instrumental in the George Floyd law enforcement trust Integrity Act. But But documentaries like the fall of Minneapolis now that are coming out just just released are shedding new light suggesting that George Floyd’s death was not a murder. How indicating is it to you that Sheila Jackson Lee would propose legislation before she knew the facts or maybe in her mind, the facts didn’t really matter in the George Floyd case.
And that’s the concern of having a Washington bureaucrats come in and be the leader of a city, be the mayor of Houston, where you do need to have the facts before you make a decision. You need to be able to talk to the experts who are doing the job and figure out what do we need to do? Are there different changes that need to be made? Or is it one of those things where law enforcement is a good business? You law enforcement officers have to deal with humans at some of their worst moments in life. And you need to know that and understand that before you just start making radical changes. And one weaponize the DOJ to go after hard working men and women that are putting their life on the line to protect us so that we can have safety, welcome, feel safe, going out to the grocery store. And when we’re seeing the funding, and you’re seeing the DEA that don’t want to prosecute, that gets hurt, and I think she’s going to be right in line with that.
Well, Mr. Packer, I’d like to play a soundbite that leaked out and Sheila Jackson Lee has expressed remorse that this leaked out and that people know about her managerial skills. I want to play I’m not going to play all of it. But I’m going to play a snippet of it. And then as a law enforcement official who sounds to me like you would prize having somebody levelheaded and somebody in the mayor’s office, who would work with you and instead of well listen to Sheila Jackson Lee, this leaked audio how she treats her staff.
“In my office right nothing I gave it to you. Your job was to get on a calendar imprinted in your brain was sent me the information back saying Congresswoman, I made sure that the old white knuckle metallic van that you gave me for someone so date and seven is on not too old to Rome happened. Okay, so when I called Jerome he let me sit up there like a fat ass. Just an idiot talking about what’s going to get worse, it I could ever have put together a damn big Canadian stamp.”
Can you imagine as a law enforcement official Having to deal with someone like that and the mayor’s officer? No, sir. Yeah, that, that. She just shows right in there. And that is I think that’s the reputation she’s had for years. It just now everybody else gets to hear it on tape. That, that that is not building bridges. That’s not trying to encourage workers to do their best and go out and serve their community. So if she’s mayor, and that’s the absolute that’s what you’re getting. And that’s what you go back to when when somebody shows you who they are. Believe them that first time. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. That’s why it’s so important for voters in Houston, to get out that early voting as far as next Monday, and then the election days on December 9. They need to have their voices heard. And so they’ve got to get out there because if not her radical group, they’re going to try and mobilize. And then we’re going to have a mayor who shouldn’t be in there are the fourth largest city in the United States, the largest city in Texas. And that is concerning for us and law enforcement.
