Allen West is making it clear that the Texas GOP expects to see legislative victories in 2021 that reflect the priorities of the Republican grassroots in Texas.

Honestly, his willingness to publicly push this has shocked the Texas Capitol. They have long controlled the position of GOP Chair and are now experiencing the problems of not being able to silence the Party, while they decide what their priorities are.

West’s stand has caused the GOP Caucus to call an emergency meeting to discuss conservative priorities, while Dustin Burrows and Dennis Bonnen attack West for speaking out of turn.

This is the story we cover today. I hope you enjoy it.
