Constitutional carry passed the Texas House and is being killed in the Texas Senate, likely by Joan Huffman. We go into all the details of this policy and the fact that Kyle Biedermann, Bryan Slaton, and Jeff Cason’s efforts on making the House bill even better should be greatly appreciated, along with Matt Schaefer’s excellent defense of the policy.

We also discuss a ban on sex-change surgeries for minors in Texas. Legislation is now moving through the process to ban some of the barbaric child abuse that is occurring in Texas. Senior Democrats have said that Dade Phelan is breaking his promise that this policy would not be allowed to be debated, and it will be interesting to see how they react as the policy advances.

Pedro Gonzalez has written a very interesting and revealing piece in Newsmax about how Texas’s Lincoln Project is targeting Allen West. Texans must understand that the establishment hates that it’s being held to a higher standard this session and will work to take back control of the party. This piece does an excellent job showing how those efforts are already underway.
