Legislative Priorities Update: (Status)
- HB 1927 – State Rep. Matt Schaefer (R–Tyler) – Constitutional carry passed Senate by a vote of 18-13. Several amendments were added, including one that might be problematic for folks hoping to see the ultimate passage of the bill. House will choose whether to accept amendments or form a conference committee to work out differences between the House & Senate versions.
- Notably, the House calendar posted for Friday, May 7 did not include HB 1399 by State Rep. Matt Krause (R–Haslet), related to preventing gender modification of children
