Last week Matt Krause called out Attorney General Ken Paxton for his delay in issuing an opinion on whether genital mutilation is child abuse, as determined by CPS’s director.

I’m not sure which opinion we want Ken Paxton to release.

Today we talk about how Krause’s letter has put Paxton between a rock and a hard place, with Paxton appearing to join the ranks of Stephanie Klick, Dustin Burrows, and Greg Abbott as Republican officials delaying action on this vital issue.

I’m hopeful that within the next several weeks we can bring you news that his opinion has been released and break down what that means for Texas children currently being abused.

Thanks for listening and sharing this episode with your fellow Texans.
