Ending the practice of taxpayer-funded lobbying has been a top priority of Texas Republicans for years, with the vast majority of Texans opposing the practice.

But despite the widespread support to stop taxpayer dollars from being spent on lobbyists, the Texas Legislature has still failed to deliver.

In this installment of the Texas Scorecard Autopsy Files, Brandon Waltens is joined by conservative political consultant Luke Macias to discuss the demise of legislation to ban taxpayer-funded lobbying during the recent session, and the fight for citizens going forward.
