While we still await the final results of the national election we have Texas results in, and the data is fascinating.

Donald Trump significantly outperformed the polls, and not in a way that any of us anticipated. I explain that today and talk about the path toward a broader GOP coalition that Trump revealed to Texas.

I also cover the speaker’s election, and why Dade Phelan is causing many conservative Texans to be concerned.

The good news is that Texans have demanded a conservative session, and the legislature is going to have to wake up eventually. Let’s hope their eyes are opened sooner rather than later.
