“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Former Texas GOP chair and gubernatorial challenger Allen West quoted this oft-used Benjamin Franklin saying twice in his press conference with America’s Frontline Doctors.

With a 98.3 percent COVID-19 recovery rate in Texas, according to West’s data from The New York Times, “I don’t see that as an emergency,” said West.

The holiday season is on the horizon, and West says “no Texans should have to make the decision between getting something injected into their bodies and providing for their families,” especially with the COVID-19 recovery rate as high as 98.3 percent.

“We live with viruses every single day. A vaccine eradicates a disease. This is not a vaccine; that’s just my humble opinion,” said West, also bringing up the influx of illegal aliens for whom the federal government is not mandating vaccinations.

West underscored that Americans are neither serfs nor servants and should be able to make a medical decision for themselves without government edicts and orders.

After recovering from COVID-19 recently, Allen West championed the early intervention treatments for COVID-19, particularly the monoclonal antibody infusion therapy and budesonide nebulizer treatments for patients with COVID pneumonia.

“It’s unconscionable,” West said, denouncing Gov. Greg Abbott for his refusal to call a special session to address vaccine mandates and protect Texans’ medical freedom.

Yesterday, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released their rule for employer-mandated vaccines, which OSHA says will protect 84 million people.

“If you want to protect 84 million in the private sector, tell them all of the protocols, therapies, and treatments that are available to them so that they can protect themselves and make the best decision for their bodies and also for their children, as well.”

“We need to make sure we are getting all the truth and all the facts,” said West. Therefore, this press conference with the courageous Frontline Doctors, who have been at the forefront of early COVID-19 intervention throughout the pandemic, was held to bring Texans information about their options if they contract COVID-19.

According to West, “The Center for Disease Control is not the legislature for the United States of America” and should not be issuing any decrees, especially when taking a COVID-19 vaccine involves signing away your right to hold the manufacturer liable if you have a negative reaction.

“If this is such a successful jab in the arm, then someone who is mandating it be taken should be held responsible, accountable, and liable,” said West.

Frontline Doctor Richard Bartlett spoke as well, touting early intervention treatments such as monoclonal antibody therapy, ivermectin, and budesonide (the full cost of budesonide without insurance is $3).

Bartlett said, “We have early effective therapies for COVID. In my opinion, no one should die in Texas from COVID at this point.”

Bartlett mentioned the two randomized studies called the Stoic Study and the Principle Study. When Oxford University conducted these, they found that budesonide is overwhelmingly effective in fighting COVID-19. And yet, Anthony Fauci called budesonide a placebo in an interview with Matthew McConaughey.

“Never give up,” said Bartlett, “We’re not helpless. We’re not hopeless.”

Dr. Amy Offutt, another Frontline Doctor, utilized some of these early intervention treatments for COVID-19 as early as March 2020 and continued to use them even when they became controversial. Her own natural immunity from April 2020 is still robust and active—a trait that she has also seen in many patients.

“Forcing vaccination on them [children] is unethical,” said Offutt. She believes that choice is essential since there is no long-term safety data for children and healthy children are at minimal risk for COVID. Offutt requests that each Texan stand and advocate for themselves, their children, and also their neighbors because medical freedom and consent are necessary for a free society.

Dr. Elizabeth Seymour of America’s Frontline Doctors calls out the politicization of the COVID-19 pandemic and how treatments have been covered up and even falsely promoted. She suggests vitamin C, vitamin D, and zinc as a supplemental regime to support the immune system and prevent patients from catching COVID-19 in the first place.

Seymour said her “first focus [is to] help patients overcome this exposure” by utilizing early intervention treatments.

“Everything in America, everything in Texas, everything is about your individual freedom,” said West, “and it’s being usurped, it’s being undermined, it’s being taken away. And if you don’t have control of your body, then tell me: What do you actually have control of?”

West referenced a time when people were separated and made to carry badges or identification paperwork, saying, “History has taught us that when governments get onerous, intrusive, and fascist in nature, that’s what they do to people.”

“I’ll stand up for myself, and I’ll stand up for every single Texan here,” said West.
