Houston attorney Tony Buzbee announced Friday that his firm has been retained to take on “the head of one of the more influential lobbying and advocacy groups in Austin.”
One of the state’s most influential trial lawyers, Buzbee has taken cases in recent years on behalf of victims harmed by powerful and wealthy interests. He recently took on rappers Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In a social media post, Buzbee announced his firm had been retained by a woman “who alleges she was coerced, sexually harassed, ultimately sexually assaulted and then retaliated against by the head of one of the more influential lobbying and advocacy groups in Austin.” He said the lawsuit would be filed on Monday.
