The Biden administration’s open-border policies have permitted illegal aliens to wreak havoc on the United States through violent crime and welfare leeching.
However, another facet of the crisis has gone largely unnoticed: breaches of military installations. Press releases as far back as January of this year document illegal aliens’ unauthorized, invasion-like entry onto various bases around Texas.
“After three years and more than 10 million illegal aliens, and after a growing increase in military base breaches, enough is enough,” wrote Zach Reyna and Selene Rodriguez of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. “What more is it going to take for the Biden-Harris administration to realize our border security crisis is an ongoing terrorism threat?”
TPPF notes several different instances of illegal aliens breaching military bases. For example, during the morning of January 21, Laughlin Air Force Base was notified of a high-speed chase by the Texas Department of Public Safety headed towards the installation.
The driver of the vehicle crashed into the concrete base of a light post, where it was stopped. Four occupants bailed out and breached the base. According to Laughlin AFB’s news release, three other individuals were arrested before they could escape.
However, that was far from the last incident that Laughlin would experience. Between May 23 and May 31, the installation would be subject to two more breaches. A press release explains that security forces notified the Laughlin AFB Command Post of a breach near the west gate by one individual—prompting the Air Force base to go into lockdown. He exited the base eight minutes later and was chased by local law enforcement.
On May 31, another individual—a suspected illegal alien—was fleeing Border Patrol and jumped the perimeter fence to escape pursuit.
“The person was tracked by USBP canine teams on base and was successfully apprehended by USBP at 4:57 a.m. CST,” records Laughlin. A blockade was established next to housing on the base to ensure that residents were not harmed during the breach.
TPPF notes another breach occurred by an illegal alien at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. In late March of this year, an unidentified Chinese national disobeyed orders and refused to leave once he had infiltrated the base via motor vehicle.
He was arrested on the scene and transported to another facility for processing.
The organization then stated that the nation needs a leader willing to take full responsibility for security in the United States.
“It’s time for decisive action and unwavering transparency. The security of our nation and the safety of our citizens depend on it. We must acknowledge the clear and present danger posed by illegal immigration and take the necessary steps to protect our country from the heightened threat of terrorism,” TPPF concluded.
