New job creation figures released by the Texas Comptroller’s office show the Lone Star State continues to outshine the other populous states in job creation. Liberal policies, like those advanced by Bill White and his ilk, are sinking the fortunes of California, New York and Illinois. That’s why it’s imperative Texans vote responsibly!

From August 2009 to August 2010, California LOST 112,800 jobs, while Texas saw the creation of 129,100 jobs.

New York, meanwhile, lost 39,600 jobs and Illinois 7,200.

Of the five most populous states, Florida was the only other one to show job growth — with the creation of 29,800 jobs.

The big-spending, high-taxing ways of the nation’s most liberal states might earn the praise of pundits, but it’s really not complicated: job-makers go where taxes are low.

And comparatively speaking, that’s Texas.

We also know Bill White refuses to rule out tax increases. He says he wants to wait to offer policy prescriptions until he get “under the hood.” Unfortunately, letting Mr. White tinker with Texas’ taxes will drive the Lone Star State into the ground.
