As the crucial November election approaches, and as pro-citizen organizations across the state announce their recommended candidates, Texas Right to Life has released their endorsements in a variety of contests. The organization supports candidates who will protect life at all stages, standing against both abortion and euthanasia.
Texas Right to Life, the oldest and largest pro-life organization in the Lone Star State, has fought in the Texas Capitol since the early 1970s.
The organization has been fighting on the front lines of issues such as Texas’ controversial 10-day rule, which allows Texas hospital committees to end life-sustaining care even if the patient—or their parents or guardians—make their objection known.
“Texas Right to Life PAC … only endorses candidates and incumbents who will champion the Pro-Life cause as officeholders,” wrote the organization upon releasing their voter’s guide. “All Texas Right to Life PAC endorsed candidates have undergone a thorough and vigorous vetting process to ensure that they share the goals of Texas Right to Life PAC to protect innocent human Life from conception until natural death, regardless of age or disability, through public policy reforms.”
Early voting is currently underway and continues through October 30. Election Day is November 3.
