For more than 40 years, Young Conservatives of Texas has been activating students at campuses across the state to fight for conservative principles by educating them, advocating conservative fiscal and social policies, engaging in campus activism, campaigning for political candidates, and issuing the longest-running conservative ratings of the Texas Legislature.

As the organization notes with its “principle over party” motto, YCT does not endorse all Republicans; instead, they give their endorsement to the most conservative candidate.
